Drawing Experiment 16
At my work, we make barcode labels. One client asked us to make a barcode for them with a very curt email without details, so I took the liberty to create a barcode for them that may fit the products they are selling. Of course I did this while waiting for their reply email of their specs. Here is what I did.
Why not a circle barcode Label?
As I was doing this I realized there was a certain craft to it to make sure that it is readable by the scanner. UPC 13: 023907 897214. The barcode number here is not the barcode the client requested, so don’t try to do anything sneaky. The client replied, and it turned out that it wasn’t a circle barcode they wanted. They wanted the boring BOX / SQUARE / RECTANGLE barcode that fits into a 0.5″ x 1.5″. I guess standards are standards.
