Drawing Experiment 30
I was toying with the concept of how strong branding uses color combinations and configuration of those colors in order to create a branding image. For example, UPS vs FEDEX vs USPS. Color combinations bring to mind one brand of shipping carrier. As for configuration, Heinekin vs Starbucks.
Therefore, playing with this idea, I though perhaps I can create abstract blocks of color, configured to bring to recognition some of the famous Nintendo characters that have already been branded in our minds. As expected, some of the less famous characters, or ones you have not seen much will be harder to recognize.
Try identifying the color blocks below! There is also a pattern in which these color pattern blocks are grouped that may help you identify some characters that have been less branded into our minds.

Annie was so excited to see these in shapes that were in proportionate squares because she saw them as great quilt patterns. She said that she would try making quilts out of them. Wow! Imagine having these as cushions!
And of course, here is the SVG of the Colors of Nintendo.
Please Nintendo Inc., do not sue me, i’m nothing more than a poor creative designer/programmer needing his outlet.
